Help with Flywheel Question

is the flywheel the same in the automatic and the 5 speed trans?

No. Flexplate and flywheel, respectively.

Additionally the bolts that secure the flywheel to the crankshaft are longer than the bolts that attach the flex plate to the crankshaft.
