where is terminal 25 on a max? supposed to be a ground
What you need is a picture of the ECU connector. The EC section of the service manual has this.
Download a manual from here: http://www.nicoclub.com/FSM/maxima/
There are a lot of pages that have the ECU connector picture. For example, page EC-307 at the very bottom.

I've seen those diagrams. I just don't know where the connector is on the car. Is it the main plug on the ECU? I need to unplug it and test whatever terminal 25 is on the plug? I know it's a noob question, but... I don't know.
can you confirm FSM 97 EC-91. So If I am testing the MAF, I need to use a wire probe to terminal 25(which is a ground wire) on that plug , with the car running and the plug in the ECM.
So I just stab a probe in the correct wire terminal from the back of the plug, or penetrate the insulation somewhere on terminal 25 wire, and test voltage that way?
