Programing 2nd oem remote

Is there a trick to program my 2nd OEM remote? I keep programing them, but it cancels the other one out. So the old remote stops working and the 2nd remote works..

You have to program them together. Meaning once you hit the button on the one remote you have to do the second remote as well.
