I got my regular Knock sensor code P0325

My regular P0440 ( Small evap leak code)

New!! P0446 (evap canister Vent control) code

Also read-- Catalyst MON / inc ???
HTD catalyst/ NA ???
Sec air system/ NA ???

Any input would be appreciated/also how bad do you think this is affecting my car( 97 gle) gas mileage/performance/damage?

The P0446 code, evap canister vent control valve, is the one to address first. This valve is located behind the driver rear wheel (sort of). It has a plunger inside that slides back and forth, but the valve can corrode and prevent the plunger from sliding. Sometimes you can take the valve apart and clean it and sometimes you have to replace it. Fixing this may also fix the P0440 code which is for the electrical control unit for the valve.

The knock sensor code will probably go away too. That code seems to pop up along with every other code that can curse you.

There's a tsb for the evap system on how to clean it, search for the P1447 code and you'll find it.

Also in the tsb it states how to check if everything is functioning properly iirc so that way you can replace whatever is bad.

the knock sensor will give you crappy gas milage.

as far as the monitors, i wouldn't worry about them. Unless you have a smog check coming up.

I am going to assume that you have the AZ check engine computer. Those monitors will not show up for some odd reason or another. P0440 and P0446 are only emissions codes. The P0325 is making you lose performance and gas mileage though.

Only if its a real code and not a "ghost" code as I suspect it is in this situation.
