wow great shell and interior but motor is/might be losing its edge at that many miles, ive seen newer 4th gens go for 2000 with way less milage.

agreed but with lesser miles than this one... especially being manual. See i bought mine with 60,000 miles on it in 2003 for around $9,000, one owner.

This is too much money. My car was only $2,500 @ 102,000 miles (1997 SE 5 Speed).

I bet you can get it lower then what is has listed. Good luck!

way too much money. that price would be about right if it had 150-175k and is in good shape (that car looks like it is, but who knows how it is mechanically).

Pricey for miles, but I guess it depends on how well it's been maintained. If it shifts smoothly and fluids were changed regularly...maybe. It might be worth it if the big items were already done -> shocks, LCA/sway bar bushings, tie-rod boots and maybe tie-rods, rear main seal, axles, knock sensor, valve cover gasket, radiator, fuel filter, new tires, etc.

Much too expensive for 272k. Ive seen a few here in SoCal with about 140k and in good condition go for that price.

Yes sir, Brooklyn, Ny!

Ill upload some pix.

I haven't picked it up yet so mind the ultra-stockness from the previous owner.

Nice! Even better at the price you stole it at! Is that range generally what they sell for there? Thats a needle in a haystack if that here in LA.

Got love for BK. I got fam out there offa Dekalb Ave.

Too high, the market is pretty crap for selling used cars right now, at least here, you can usually pick them up for less than trade value in great shape.

If one owner kept his car running for over 200k miles he's obviously knows what he's doing... If there's no timing chain noise, quiet smooth tranny, new parts here and there, I'd say it's worth it.

Even though miles are high its hard to find these cars in this of a good condition. Trust me I searched after my 5th gen was totaled and found Maximas with 150k for $500 dollars but they were so banged up and/or maintained so lousy they are not worth it. I say $1800 is a fair price for it.

Ask him when he replaced the differential carrier bearings and clutch. It strikes me that the tranny should have started leaking about the mileage he bought the car, or shortly thereafter.

You should be able to find a reasonably priced Maxima with a lot fewer miles than that, although you might not find a 5-speed too easily.

My 95 SE, 5-speed (rebuilt tranny & new clutch last year) has 84,600 mostly highway miles on it and isn't for sale as I am going to be buried in it eventually, lol!
