DEK Knock sensor in a DE?

The knock sensor in my 245k mile '95 VQ30DE has finally gone out on me. Fallen one has a KS for sale out of a DEK. I assume they are interchangeable, is my assumption correct?

If the answer is no, does anyone have a KS I can purchase!?

Thanks guys!

Just get a new one off eBay. They're cheap and do the job.

+1 for ebay. I got mine there not too long ago for $40.00, and it is OEM. Works perfectly.

The 5th gen one will work, it is actually made out of a different material than the 4th gen ones (better composite and stronger IMO). You just need to modify the pigtail to make it work, thats it.

Ebay ones are cheaper now, they average around 25 dollars and there are lots of posts that stat the ebay ones are working fine and not throwing codes at all.

i'm not saying eBay ones won't work or will throw codes. I would rather support a .org member than a random dude off eBay.

Modifying the pigtail is not that big of deal to me either. A little extra work ain't that bad, and I support a member.

Thanks for the quick responses guys!

I only want 10$ for it guys, it may be used but it looks to be in good condition. At the worst hes out a few bucks. I originally got it for when my 'New' KS goes out, but the way i figure it i can always scrounge up another.
