Need help with tire sizes..

Need help with tire sizes..

I want to get 18X7.5 4-100/4-114.3 Size rims but i dont know what size tire to get?? Im thinking of 225/45/18, but i dont know if they will fit smoothly.

4x100/4x114.3...uhh you DO know 4th gen max's are 5x114.3 right?

I think the numbers in the title were messed up but in the pic it had 5 holes

I would confirm this beforehand, typically the picture that they use is a sample picture and not the actual product. Usually whats described in text is what you will be actually getting.

*Edit* To answer your actual question though, 225/45/18 sounds good, I wouldn't go any lower in aspect ratio or you risk losing whats left of your smooth ride. You COULD bump that width up to a 245 but without knowing what your running for suspension I couldn't in good faith advise that.

225/40 is whats closest to stock tire size in 18s

225/40 is good but i like 225/45 or 235/40, will fill the gap if u have a small drop.

225/40 is what I have and they're almost perfect. 45 sidewall is for 17's.

well, im running 225/50 on 17 and it looks just perfect to me, and i've seen oem 18s with 45 and IMO looks better than 40
