Aftermarket MAF, OEM replacement

Has anyone had any experiences with an aftermarket MAF?

I found two places that sell new OEM replacements, made in Japan, for around $90 w/ a 2-year warranty and I'm interested in buying one and testing it out. I'm reluctant to buy a used one because I have no idea what has been done to it and if it has been tested prior to sale.

Thanks in advance.

I got two different aftermarket ones, the first one shorted out after 2 weeks and the second one lasted about half a year so far and counting.

I guess its hit and miss!
