But have you thought about painting the front lip white or the whole kit white? I think it'll flow with the wheels and other white things. Although it might look odd.

Only one way to find out, TO PHOTOSHOP!
every good artist signs there work

You could just manually check the codes through the ECU.

checked the codes and nothing that unusal poped up.

0304
0402
1001
0103
0305
1005

the only thing wrong with my car is it bucks at low rpms. im guessing till 1500-2k since my tach doesnt work but after that it drives great.

what would cause bucking?

well, are these codes from your scanner or did you manually pull them?

p0304 and p0305 are misfires of course...but nevermind if you pulled them manually.

Pulled them manually

Also my courtesy lights stopped working. All fuses are good and all interior dash lights work as well. Does anybody know what these lights are connected to?

For the courtesy lights try disconnecting then reconnecting the window switches.

FOR THE TIMING PART ON THE 3.5 SWAP ..ALL YOU DID WAS CHANGEOVER ALL THE 3.0 TIMING CHAINS AND GEARS? I MEAN WAS THERE ANYTHING ELSE INVOLVED OR IT WAS PRETTY STRAIGHT FORWARD?

i had a similar issue very recently where the car would buck violently up until about 2500 rpms...my maf wiring came loose from swapping to the N62. Do you have any wiring done on your MAF?

Yo, you mounted your throttle body cable to the firewall!! Thats a huge no-no! What happens if your engine pivots a little....its gonna yank on the cable!

my rpms havent worked sinve the swap. what do you think the problem could be?

As someone who used to have one of the cleanest yet simplest 4th Gens. on this forum, I am proud of you. I've since upgraded in a massive way, but it's nice to see ya'll are doin work.

Car looks great, although I'm not feeling the white rims.

How much has this run you? I am assuming you did most of the work (if not all), but still. VERY impressive.

i have done everything to the car myself!!

probably around 3000 for everything.

05 3.5 engine, 6spd tranny, paint, black interior misc. parts to complete the swap all new fluids belts timing components water pump bla bla bla. bunch of adaptors for all the vacume lines, fuel pump, filter and lines are all new along with the fpr. pretty much everything is new on the car other then the original body.

im over modding though. this project just took too much out of me. my next car will be a lexus is350. dropped wheels and a lip kit and im donezo

Wow that's really interesting and unique. Great idea there Senor Artista I'm guessing that's the 3M glossy Di-Noc stuff? If the rest of your interior lights are UV/purple, that should light up that same color.

yeah the white lettering is a bit much but its just frosted plastic so it allows light to shine through.

its just something i had planned on doing for a while. just another out there idea, some will like others wont lol
