Rough Idling..

I have read and read thru many posts (some were quite interesting, some real authors out there), but I still couldn't find a post that I haven't tried to fix my problem.

First, the statistics:
96 Max GXE
Automatic
333K Miles
No CEL light

Problem:
When the car turns on (having problems with the car starting and turning over multiple times before starting another issue) it has a strong hesitation/vibration. At lights it feels like it wants to just cut off. I thought it was just water in the gas (similar symptons), but after 2 bottles of HEET the issue is still there.

Changes:
So this is what I have changed:
- Camshaft and both crankshaft sensors (tested them all and they were fine, but replaced anywhere..thought this was causing the starting problem)
- Replaced all the spark plugs, and checked all the coil packs (everything tested within limits)
- Replaced the fuel filter
- Changed the oil, filter, and oil pressure switch (looked like it was leaking)
- Cleaned the TB

Open to ideas/suggestions.

I would check the IACV and MAF and check for vacuum leaks around the intake and intake manifold.

I eliminated the fuel pump because there are no issues during acceleration. If it was constant then I would have checked the fuel pump.

I will check the vaccum connections, that is a good idea. Any good write-ups on the IACV/MAF? I tried a link one time, but they all returned to the same page.

EGR valve. I have a similar issue and have done everything you have done plus more. I have narrowed it down to the EGR valve which I will be changing within a week. I cleaned the EGR tube and it was completely clogged up so this is the next step. If you do some research, youll find that a bad EGR valve will give you the exact same issues.... just a suggestion though, im anxious to find out what your issue is, so keep us updated....
