What are the best spark plugs to get and how will it change my drivability and performance?
Are there performance spark plugs?
How are they better?

Dont scrimp on the plugs. You want your engine firing cleanly and running right. Goto the dealership pick up the platinum plugs and do it the right way and no worries.

Wanna save bucks on Platinums?

Here's a link to a set of NGK Platinum's so don't go out and buy those copper ones.

Its a spark plug, not an o-ring seal on the space shuttle

The only benefit using Plat is life span of the plug tip, thats it!

Other than that you are wasting your money.

If your dont want to change the plugs but every 60k, and paying 5x more is ok with you, get the plats.

If you dont mind changing your plugs after 30k, and would like to save money, the coppers are just fine.

yes the only benefit over Plat than Copper is that copper goes 30k and Plat goes 60k the performance is still the same

Coppers are actually better, they just burn out too quick.

Correct, I just didnt want to open that bag of worms with the "more expensive is allways better" crowd.

You want it to be hard for the coil to throw spark, so the spark thrown is stronger and contains more energy. I learned this from using the Jacobs Electronics Nitrous Master mind on my old car.

Nothing like ticking Sprint off because he posted it first and then medic for seeing a repeat answer to the question.
