im wondering how thick that projector glass will be and what quality?? just like a camera you need good glass for a decent shot and i think same applies for a decent output for the projectors.

Just installed these with HIDs. Output is terrible!!! Aiming them had no effect. Fitment wasnt the best either....even on an I30....pics coming soon.

On the bright side, they do improve the look of the whip big time.

WAY worse. It doesnt illuminate anything directly in front of the vehicle. Just a thin beam way out to the sides.

its all good. You live and learn. If I cant solve the issue, Ill have to go 6000k fogs to help with lighting. So much for 3000k's.

Ill put up a review on these as soon as I get pictures so that ppl would be weary about em in the future.

It's my understanding 6k bulbs are no brighter than 3k bulbs. It's just a difference in color output...no?

Hmm, Im not too sure. Ill have to look into that...

EDIT: And I chose 6000k for fogs since I went 6000k in the projectors so theyd somewhat be uniform.

Depo's website claimed that these take either h1 or h7. So I decided to go with an HID form of the latter. Upon installation, the bulbs wouldnt fit because of a small tab so a homie dremeled it off for me. And the end result is this poor output. I never realized that HID's were somewhat directional. Would getting h1's solve my issue? I dont want to have to spend more money with no improvement in lighting. TIA
