P0316 Trouble code
Yesterday i put a new battery in my 97 se. After driving awhile check engine light came on so i went back to autozone and after they checked codes they gave me P0316 Crankshaft position sensor. Checked my haynes manual and hats not the code for CPS. I've researched the org not to much info on p0316

This is what I came up with for a P0316 code, I hope it helps.
The P0316 code means that the PCM has detected a serious misfire in the first 1,000 engine revolutions. If there are no other misfire codes, this code can indicate a problem with a crankshaft position sensor, camshaft position sensor, or a wiring issue. Since this code indicates a start up misfire, pay attention to items which may expand or contract when cold (if the code sets when the engine is cold), or hot (if the code sets on a hot restart).
If you have other misfire codes that pertain to individual cylinders, you should attend to them first

Ok so after using my dads scanner to check problem codes the mysterious 0316 looks to have been a 0136. The girl at autozone had to have done something wrong to get that code and give me the printout. So my car has a 0150 ( FRONT BANK OXYGEN SENSOR) and a 0136 ( DOWNSTREAM OXYGEN SENSOR ). Thanks for all the help.
