HElp! HELP! HELP! PLEASE

i was wondering if anyone could help me out wit some information about the VQ30DE stock connecting rods.I was wondering if the markings on either side of the connecting rods (the walls(sides)of the connecting rods) tell wich way it goes into the motor or is connected to the piston or if it even matters?
