18's with coilovers??

I new and I would like to know alot about MODS!!
I have a 96 SE Black 5-speed and I want 18's and I heard
that coilovers are the way to go!! I wanted to know if anyone had
18's w/coilovers or 18's with any springs!! If you guys would be so kind to post some pics for me with 18's and tell me what springs you have so I can buy what looks the best!!! I see that alot of you have 17's and they look good but I think I will like 18's better!!!

18s are good looking but they really slow down the car, hurt MPG, and hurt your brake distance. There are plenty of people who don't care about that stuff and do it anyway. You can buy a true coilover serup for a couple thousand or you can get ground control springs along with a good set of struts (required) for about half that ammount. I personally have Ground Control Springs (coilover) and AGX struts but I only have the stock 16" wheels for now. I plan to upgrade to 17s in about 4 months because for me they offer the best compromise of looks and performance.

I agree with the blue...my car is definitely slower with the 18's. I love the ride of the 18's on the highway. My car also isn't my daily driver so when I do drive it I am just happy to not be driving my buick

How about 19"s with coilovers?

This is as low as my car goes. Front bumper is about 1" off the ground.

A body shop has to do it. They pull the moldings, then they have to fill the little holes in and repaint all of your doors. It costs anywhere from $5-800 to have it done. I just had it done when I repainted my whole car.

I have 18x8 with 245/40 18, suspension Koni adjustables and intrax springs with one coil cut off at the front, since Sprint was out of stock and still out of stock thats why I went that route. I am expecting a set of Weapon R coilovers, which should be here in the next couple of days.
