location for DEI 530T in the cabin?

Are you trying to do the front two up/down or all four up or down? If memory serves, the 530t will do two windows in both directions or four windows in one direction. Latching the door lock wire will roll the windows down from the factory setup, so you could just use the 530t to roll them up. The problem is that you have to catch each window motor wires in each door. The module works better with a shorter wire run. (less resistance)
Because of the wiring run I would use a 529t in each door you want to control. (one window, two ways) Way easier that way...

thats always the pita, mounting locations. maybe you can use a backstrap and make a bracket for it. just use screws long enough, cut em if you have to. for reference http://www.directed.com/guides/manua...N530T_1-00.pdf

You didn't answer what you are planning to do with the module. What windows do you want to control? If you want to do more than one window you really need to go with 529t modules instead.

All you are trying to do is roll the windows down? The factory remote does that if you hold the unlock button. Just connect a latched output to the unlock wire and you're done. No module needed...

Does you aftermarket alarm have keyless entry hooked up? If so, try holding ground to the unlock wire for a few seconds and see if the windows roll down. If so, you just need to hook up a latched output from the alarm to the unlock wire. If not, then you will need a module like the 529t, 530t, etc.
