Hoe do you make the back of your hood like slightly open?

Hoe do you make the back of your hood like slightly open?

Ive seen a member on here with his hood slighlty open in the rear near the windsheild, it looks awesome and im sure it has benefits as well. There was a comment on his picture, something about a washer kit? If anyone knows of this please let me know. Thanks!

Just use regular ol' washers

As far as I know, there's no "kit" for this

thats the easiest way to do that and its called venting the hood...

not sure how it looks or how practical it is on the maxima though

Hood spacers! Helps heat escape the engine bay faster. Looks hella jdm. Also looks like your car is poppin its collar.

That's what I use, if you look closely you can notice it, it's not really obvious though.



Only pic I have where its obvious, the reflection helps point it out.

Thanks guys, yea I figured it was just washers/spacers, just wanted to be sure...Thanks again...if anyone comes across the forum member, its a white 4g, in a blur picture going down the road, I think the wheels were purple/pink/orange or something...just so you all would have a better idea.

It's actually bent... We won't discuss how this happened...., Just ended up using washers so it'll sit properly with the fender towards the front, it was an accidental mod...
