I was installing altezza today and stoped half way throught. I am undesided what should be better for my car. Please help me to pick one. This image will serve as an example for everyone who want to decide what is good for them.

Yea, I'm going to have to go with Red/Clear all the way, even without seeing whatever picture you have. It's just classier, more toned down. I'm not a big fan of that in-your-face chrome.

Altezzas weren't even cool LAST year. Why in the hell would you want them on now. Without a doubt, they are one of the worse things that you can put on your car (with the exception those retarded washer nozzle lights).

As long as you've already got the altezzas, talk with Sexima, he's trying to paint the inside chrome his body color. I think it would look really badass. But it's up to you man. I have the altezzas, but i'm keeping my stockers incase it wanted to go to red/clear route. good luck in whatever you decide

EVERYONE has red/clears so for me they were out. I want to be unique. I like the general idea of Altezzas: clear outside looking into recessed circular taillights. That concept is nice in my opinion. I just HATE chrome! I spent a lot of money getting rid of all my chrome (emblyms, doorhandles, window trim, exhaust tip, etc.) so I certainly don't want to put more back on. I contimplated a number of things. Having the inner taillights filled in and having all clear on the outside, painting around cut-out circles over the red/clear lights, etc., etc. But I figured I'd just work with the Altezzas which were almost what I wanted and just fix what I don't like about them. The chrome! So this break I will be taking them apart and having the chrome painted body color. I may even fill in that cheesey little red bulb hole on the outsides. Anyway, do what you like man, not what everyone else tells you. Why would you even need to start a thread asking what you should do? It's YOUR car! Well, good luck with your decission.

Make sure you choose whatever matches your car/taste better, for me it's red/clears all the way cuz i seen a black max with Altezzas already and damn are they ever ugly, (in my opinion)... The chrome piece on the light is just too large, if the Max had smaller lights then it wouldn't look as bad, just my .02

 

I agree on the subject that they are big for the maxima too much crome in them. But how about if everyone will paint outside of the body matching collor. Comparing to Red/clear the outsides seems to match my body collor. look at the pic
