To change or not to change, Rear output seal on boosted 4th Gen

Looks like l have some leakage from the rear output seal or is it the upper oil pan seal ? Not leaking heavy looks almost dried up, like as if it stopped from the looks of it. But the car hasn't been driven for months ether.

Has anyone had some experience with the rear output seal or upper oil pan seal leaking/weeping on a boosted VQ30 4th Gen ?

Did it go away (stop leaking/weeping) and you left it, please explain ?

Or as soon as they start to leak they don't stop and must be changed, should l change the upper oil pan seal first and see what happens or should l change them both ?

Or is it the upper oil pan seal instead of the Rear main oil seal which would definitely be easer to change ?

I know what caused it and that is fixed (poor crankcase ventilation) , thats not the question. The question is should l change it or leave it, and which one could it be ? One thing to consider also is a very expensive clutch by this leak, that could ruin if it gets oil on it, please take that into consideration.

Leaks don't fix themselves. The clutch should be the closing argument here.

Your right leaks don't fix themselves, but if the leak was caused by pressure in the crankcase is it possible with fixing the crankcase ventilation issue that it won't leak any more. Because maybe the seal was not completely blown out, maybe the crankcase pressure just forced its way through, and now that the blow-by pressure in the crankcase is gone. Maybe it sealed back up ?

It looks more like weepage than a full blown leak, thats why l am aiming this question toward boosted guys. Because they experience more blow-by than N/A.

So is it a possible intermittent issue with not enough crankcase ventilation in a boosted application ? Or am l dreaming and this will only get worse ?

Once we determine that the leak won't fix itself. Than which of the two possible seals would be the weakest link when pressuring up the crankcase ?

Rear output seal

Rear upper oil pan seal
