lca question

so i need to change my lca bushings. i ordered them online and am waiting for them. to make the job quicker i went to the junk yard and picked up the lca's but i think one of them is an aftermarket one. is there any difference between the oem and aftermarket lca? im wondering because i can go back and get an oem lca from another maxima so that both of them will be oem. Or should i just go with the one oem and one aftermarket?

As long as they are both good and the ball joints and bushings are in tact, it will not matter too much. Why did you bother to order the bushings if you knew you were going to get the LCA's from the JY? Are you going to replace them anyways??

oh i ordered ES bushings because i needed new ones, and got the lca's from the junk yard because i figured it would make it quicker to have the lca's ready when i take off the other ones.

Aftermarket tends to be of lesser quality than the OEM ones.

I ordered an aftermarket front motor mount....... I can see why it was only $22 off of Amazon.com. I pressed out the bushing and pressed in the ES one.

Why would you not just replace the whole LCA ???? Comes with new bushings and new ball joint as well ...

However, to each their own.
