Maybe its a dumb question, but i just do not know. I know the SE means Sport Edition, and GLE mean Grand Lux Edition, right? but then what does GXE mean? Archive gave me nothin
NONE of the trim levels stand for anything, except for AE. Ask anyone at Nissan marketing. Manufacturers pick letters that are pleasing to here, like RSX, GTi, GLE, TL-S. Traditionally, 'sporty' versions of cars have the SE designation, but not necessarily (e.g. Honda's SE means Special Edition). About the only letter that generally means anything is the X, which USUALLY goes on AWD models.
ah well no biggie thanks for the info guys.
BTW may i say that your car looks really nice in the sig medicsonic. Do you got more pics of your car. I was looking for 17" wheels and never thought those would good on a 4th gen.

Some letters do have some meaning... I suppose.. at least letters like "R" or "S" or "GT"
I always thought the L in GLE is for luxury, and the SE is or Sports Edition. GXE is the most plain, most option-less max, so it doesn't even deserve any letters

¬_¬ I kinda like my Chrome door handles.. And my 95 has NO trim markers. It didn't come with them. But it is a GLE, 'cause it has the chromy things. And my car is Starfire Blue. *claps* I wanna get their black colour and put a painting of the Galaxy on it. It'd be nifty. Light reactant paint, too. Wow, it's 3 in the morning, I'm tired. Stupid work.
