KSport Coilover not for A32?

I purchased this used set of KSport Coilovers from another org member.

The front bottom mounts are different than what is on my '96 I30. The stock struts on my car has a rough spacing of 2.5" between bolt holes. The KSports I have has a rough spacing of 2.75".

My question is, what were these KSports made for? Are they for the newer Maxima?

The seller was unsure of what kit he had from KSport as he was not the original user of the coilovers. He came onto this forum asking if those looked like A32 coilovers or not.

I don't want to sound mean, but why would you buy used coilovers from someone who wasnt 100% sure in the first place they were even for a 4th gen?

and 2nd. If they are for a 4th gen maxima, then they will fit your car, if they truely are for em.

oh man.. that sucks.. try calling ksport and see if there are identifiers that they can point out, so you can see if its for an a32 or if its a knock off!

My bad mistake on trusting that guy. I got double screwed by him. Someone on the forum told him it looked like the A32 coilovers.

I got screwed again when I received the coilovers, two of the struts were blown. I contacted the seller after I received the box and he totally denied the fact that the struts were blown. Now he won't answer my emails.

Ive heard that the A33 co's can be made to fit A32s with some modification. Lets let some of the suspension gurus confirm and enlighten us!

I think it is safe to say those are for 5th gens. I measured the bolt spacing on a blown 5th gen strut in my garage and center to center was about 2.75"

Sorry to hear you got screwed by this guy.

Thanks for the update. I was thinking it would be for an A33. I got double screwed.

I bought two replacement struts. I will sell everything and will lose a bunch.

Live and learn!

5th gen for sure. If they werent blown you could have made them work if you got them cheap. But I wouldnt run KSports if you paid me.

I have a complete set of KSport Coilovers with 2 blown struts. 1 from the front and 1 from the rear is blown.

I do have the brand new replacement struts from KSport.

I also have the wrenches as well as the aluminum **** to adjust the struts too.

PM me and make me an offer. I WILL NOT separate pieces from this sale.

Photos to be done tomorrow night.
