Time to start my Build thread

Well I bought my car for 500 dollars as some of you may have seen previously im not sure, It was out of state so i finally got the title and what not taken care of and work has began i plan on doing a lot of work to this car.
The bad:
-Motor knocks real bad and burns oil
-Interior is a little stinky is in good shape over all
-front radiator support is rusted out
-multiple other things associated with a car with 267000 miles
The good:
Well alot

Here is when I got it:

and then a weekend later

and now:

Ive also been collecting parts, I was worried about getting an 00vi some how ended up with two of them haha, and can get 2 more our junk yards are full have 6 of them within an hour drive,
some collected parts:

and i have full stainless mandrel 3 inch exhaust tubing to make my custom exhaust. Im collecting parts and doing work as I have the time and extra money, I want a Pathfinder throttle body, Headers, y-pipe, and what not so if anyone has any lying around that would be nice like to help other forum members out,
Plans:
Alot of handling stuff, Custom fender braces, mild seam welding, custom front and rear strut tower braces, custom rear sway bar, possibly a custom panhard bar,, custom lower control arm brace, and maybe sub frame braces
Engine is basically a full rebuild, I have another engine Im doing,
Interior: sound insulation, like to get full tan leather either from max or infiniti, a nice sound system, and what not,

Now my questions for you guys, I need a full rebuild gasket kit if there is one, a High rev oil pump, cam spacers, new water pump, low temp t-stat, trans rebuild stuff and what not, If you guys can tell me where I can purchasable most of this stuff be a big help, Also maybe a better power steering set up, and some other possible perforce up grades i may have over looked, Im doing all the work myself so its gonna be a good time, and I search the forums all the times for ideas and rarely post but im here alot,
I know its a long first post, I think i coveed most everything
and Thanks in advanced should be a good project

Since you are making your own exhaust, I would buy these headers and make your own y pipe. Can't beat that price, mine were $130 shipped.

There stock 3.5 cams, just 1mm more lift, I know its not much but I figured it would give just enough more umph for the extra air intake and large exhaust, Dont want to go real big and be loping and kill my gas mileage

Can't beat the pricing or customer service of David Burnette ( aka DaveB here on the org), an employee at a Nissan dealership. Dave knows a lot about these cars too, and often surprises me with the knowledge he has. Go to the vendor feedback section for threads, contact info etc.

That's quit a long laundry list of things to do. What's your timeframe and budget?

The PN for a nissan engine gasket kit is 10101-2L927. If you need an OEM PN this site gives them away: www.nissanpartszone.com

They sell the kit for $263 + shipping. Like the wizard stated buy from Dave B and you'll get a lower price.

Okay Thanks guys thats a big help, My budget is around blue book value for now, so about 4000 dollars, bluebook is 3800 in good running condition, The time frame is hopefully over the next 3 to 4 months but could be longer I work alot so its hard to fit it in. Im moving it to a nice garage soon so that will help just been doing the disassembly in the bottom of our old dairy barn and there is no electric so it has halted it some. But im freeing up some time so hopefully I can start moving

Well didnt have much time this weekend, Started tearing down the old motor, and cleaned out the interior got all the old owners junk out found a title for a dodge dokota so mailed it to him, then pulled the carpet out it was the nastiest part, Not sure how people do that to carpet, then I took the stock exhaust off so it wasnt in the way, Going to clean it up next and start removing the lower radiator support and do some welding and what not

Me and Another member bought that car for 200 dollars we split it and were fixing it to resell so the interior is practically free, the hardest part of the dash board is the air bag screws I couldent find a tool in time so I used vise grip and took the air bag mount bolts out its not hard but its not easy

this is inspiration. i am about to buy my first 4th gen 95 se. hopefully theres no rust... i just can't wait to start being able to independintly post. it should be a time limit + smaller post limit as opposed to a fricken 20 post limit so we wouldn't have to do this..

I second that. I have been collecting parts for my 99 ever since I got back from serving over seas and I have been on this forum reading and learning from some on the great minds here. I understand the minimum post is in place for a reason. Just wish there could be exceptions.

Alright. My ***** session is over. No thread stomp intended.

This looks to be the making of a very interesting and inspirational build. Will def keep up with it.

Wow! That is a great undertaking. Looking forward to see your pictures on your engine work. I am planning to rebuild engine, but kinda afraid that it can end up in a scrap yard.
