Hi

I had the same problem as you. My car is a 97. It had the visor remote but not Homelink. you can actually use ANY visor controller from 97 onwards (mine was early 97). Even 2000 would work (controller, not visor). I took the homelink controller from a later year car (2000) ,took out the old one and plugged the Homelink one right in without having to remove my old visor.

I have not seen '95-96 and don't know if you have the the remote in the visor (without Homelink). If you don't have this or don't want the hassle of ripping out the control then you'll need the late '97 to '99 visor to fit the whole visor. Other than that you're fine. Mine was plug and play!

The only reason I did it the way I did was that one of my friends had a 2000 and didn't need it. I didn't want to pay $200 for a new visor and trying to find a used one that matched would have been a nightmare. Unfortunately, I don't know of any one selling just the controller.

Enjoy!

Nigel
