To Finish or To Sell

ok so recently ive been trying to do this project for about a week now and im not sure if i should finish or sell it.

its a fog light retrofit with 2002 audi a6 projectors i got at a junk yard for 5 dollars for the pair.

i had 2 sets of fogs and broke out the glass to put acrylic molds in. but everytime i cut the molds they break because i dont have the right tools and im having a hard time trying to aim them right

what do you guys think?

your mounting method sucks. read the "JNC mounting method" thread in hidplanet forums and you'll see how to mount them so you can aim them to perfection.

this is how i mounted my R34's

I have a spare set of 6000k bulbs if youre interested. Can let it go for $15 plus ship. All youll need are ballasts.

Im in the proccess of looking for a good sealant searching everywhere before i seal them im thinking about painting them black to match my headlights and so it wont look so ugly with bolts sticking out. Or possibly make a custom shroud for them what you guys think? opinions please

Use Quiksteel to seal up any holes. It's a putty epoxy and withstands heat up to five hundred degrees.

Now I'd definitely mask off those lenses and paint everything black but that's just me. If these were baked open, don't forget to put more butyl sealant in, then throw those lenses on and bake them back together.

Nice work!

Wish I had the patience and know-how to do retros, but I don't. Maybe when I get back in the house and garage I can find my passion again for custom parts.

hello fellow orgers! its been along time maybe to long, well update time so ive been running the fogs unfinished and there still unfinished due to lack of tools. but on the plus side i decided to retro my r34s just for kicks

it took me litteraly 2 days, now before you flame me they ARE NOT DONE at all not even close i plan on quad retroing thats right 4 projectors! lol and buying some angel eyes for them and making a custom shroud. the projectors in them are j30s and they work very well for me very cheap to and i like the cut off.

ive also found some fun stuff to mess with at my local bone yard like rare 97-99 plastic clear headlights need to be clean but in great shape

also some new mini projectors! now i have 4!

the 2 in the middle are new the blue are old
and i was also able to get a new set of 95-96 fogs maybe i will retro them to

for more pics visit my album http://s1191.photobucket.com/albums/...w%20Retrofits/
