I'd recommend 275-300 degrees for 10-15 minutes.

*Disclaimer* : Please do not hold me responsible for any damages. Just keep an eye on them while they are in the oven.

~215F for 12 minutes and try taking it apart...if lense still offer too much resistance then 225F+ for another 5 minutes but no more.

tried 225 for 5 minutes but did not work. I used 250 for 7 minutes and they started to pull apart. Basically it depends on your oven. I would try 225 for 5 minutes and see what happens. BECAREFUL..it will take a liitle effort to pull the lense off, but do not pull from the outer most point. PULL from the flat side first then work your way around. ALSO, make sure you take the screws out as well... this will crack the lense if you leave the little screws in and try to pull it apart. As to what to place them on... take all the bulbs out and place on a cookie sheet, lense facing up.

hmm

I tried the Oven method. I did not have such a pleasant experience with it, due to over heating. They pulled away very easily, but I damaged the lens a little bit, it actually melted to a point where i bent it out of it's original shape...
here is a pic of the finished product:

as you can see, the top right side was f-ed up a little bit, the line isn't smooth, it didn't really seal up well because i bent it. Not very noticeable, but the light is kind of crooked when u come close.
BTW, I set it at 250 for 15 minutes. if you pull carefully and evenly on all sides, this would work, but I rather use the oven for less time then use a heatgun to help out in case. Since that attempt, i opened up the tail again and put the factory orange piece back in, because the flourescent light cover piece chipped on the inside and produced some foggy-ness in 1 place, u can see it in that pic... I'm going to get around to doing them again sometime before i go back t school... make it perfect this time.

you can also try a hair dryer. i didn't have a heat gun, and i didn't really want to put it in my oven, seemed like too small a margin for error. just put it on full blast with the heat all the way up. i sat there for about 10-15 min. for each tail light, a lot less time than i expected. i mena, it took a little effort to pull it apart, but i feel it's much safer than an oven, since you are only heating the parts that need to be heated. just don't hold it in one spot for too long. also...the bit about being careful when pulling it apart SHOULD NOT BE TAKEN LIGHTLY!!! the first tailight i did, the light was hoooot as hell so i started prying it apart, not even 25% of my full strength and it chipped. it's also due to the fact that i started pulling from the bottom left corner(bottom right corner on the right light). don't start pulling from there. just work patiently and you will get better results.
