I was changing my oil yesterday and noticed the flexible pipe towards the front of my exhaust is loose on both ends. Does this have to be replaced or can it be repaired? Also, I have had an 0302 EGR code for some time now. I've been planning on cleaning the EGR tube, just haven't gotten around to it. Could this loose exhaust pipe be what is causing the 0302 code? Thanks.

 

The flex pipe can be cut out and replaced. Shop around as it only cost me $50 to replace.
