New Moog springs which side goes up?

Just got some Moog 80978 springs for the front of my 98 SE. No instructions. Does anyone know which side goes up? It looks like it may not matter.

Where the space between the coils come closer together, that side goes up top.

Trust me, it matters. Have heard of springs breaking like that and other crap.

I didn't know Moog made springs for our cars. Are they OE replacements? In for a review when installed.

These are are constant rate springs meaning the coils have the same spacing through the whole spring except for the top and bottom. The spring looks exactly the same regardless which side you install up or down. That is the reason for my confusion. There were no instructions. I'll try calling Moog.

They are OE replacements and only $87 shipped for the pair from Rockauto. They appear beefier than the stock springs. The springs are a little taller but that is probably because the car has been sitting on the old ones for 13 years. I took a quick test drive and really could not notice the difference between these and the old ones. I'll try and report back after I drive the car for a little while.
