Indiglo gauge install...
Yes, I did take some time to search this topic. Anyway, I trying to figure out the best/easiest place to run my positive and negative wires for my indiglo gauges? Any pics would be greatly appreciated too...Thanks.

why not tap the power already running to the lights on the dash?? Then jus run a neg lead to a bolt under the steering wheel trim
That's what I figured. Didn't know if anyone knew what color the wire was?
dimmer switch, dont use the orange/black wire!!!!
i have the indiglo, be careful with the frickin needles. real easy to break and they stick sometimes. my water temp gauge sticks all the time, i just tap the front of the cluster and it unsticks.

I bought a gauge cluster with them already installed. Figured I would use the dimmer switch. Anyway, now that I know which wire NOT to use...could someone tell me which one I CAN?
Anyone? Or at least guide me in the direction of a 4th gen wiring schematics...Thanks.
I would wire it into the cluster. The 4th gen is easy, you can just solder to the + and - wires on the rear of the cluster, they're well marked.
You will need to use flux to get the coating off the section you're soldering on the board, and be careful not to overheat the plastic layer. |
Does anyone know where to get those reverse gauges for a 98 maxima?
