Ya rediculous what they want for it. So im sure stuff got changed and what not throughout the years or whatever but i was just looking at the movie and pics from ebay and there are various differences.

1. Exhaust tip in the movie is poking out the rr quarter panel, ebays is in the factory location with a muffler
2. Wheels are chrome, in the movie they appear silver
3. No wing in neither the movie nor on ebay but in the magazine cover on ebay there's a wing
4. Tail lights are stock in the movie, ebays are chrome altezzas

Here's the a clip of the movie at the BBQ scene where you can see the car the best. Compare it to the ebay pics, lmk what you think.

I can't get over the fact of people bashing this car for it's performance value. We get it, noone would pay $40,000 for a riced out maxima. If it's Vince's maxima double, it's just a collector's item. Can you imagine you saw the R33, the S14, or the Jetta from the Fast and the Furious in real life? the actual one used in the movie? Yeah, they're not the best looking cars but it's definitely cool to see. I was a young kid when I watched the movie, and my brother owned a 98 maxima at the time with bolt-ons. Going around in his car was fun, to say the least being that age.

It could still be the original car, the guy who has the maxima could have changed the exhaust, tails. They aren't too extensive of modifications. Or, it could be a backup car for Vince's

in light of all the comments I've read over the last month about the minute differences regarding placement of decals, paint, etc etc....I found this link on youtube talking about all the cars (plus the ****ty dialouge and ideas that got rejected from the films lol) http://www.youtube.com/user/TheSmoki.../4/lPrrIACrXCA

I think its a bit old school right now, but it used to be that we would see it in the movie and be awed by it and all the other cars in the film.
I also think that 221whp is nothing, given the mods that are supposed to have been done on the car.

The burnout was cool, then I thought it was a burnout in reverse... then I realized it's fwd.

I wonder if they practiced that several times to figure out which wheel actually spins with torque steer?
