Just spend a little more money and get the Wagner ThermoQuiet brand.

Chain store brake pads are rarely the better choice. Although they will indeed stop your car, they will grind and make a lot of noise while doing it.

Wagner would be a better choice.
Get the Hawk HPS? Street pad for some really nice stopping power.

Wagner ThermoQuiet is made from ceramic material. it works better in the southern states than northern states since it needs heat to brake better?

that's utter rubbish. the 10 or 20 degree difference in average temperature between "northern states" vs "southern states" is absolutely miniscule compared to the temperatures brakes see. do you really believe that your brakes which might reach 300-500 degrees during normal street driving give a crap if the ambient temperature is 65 degrees or 85 degrees?

Don't cheap out on your brake pads and rotors. Trust me.

Mr. Cheapo (AKA Leo) cut every possible penny and got the cheapest crap out there that can stop my car and it screeches everywhere I go.

I can't wait until these are all worn out so I can get new pads.

Monroe Dynamic Premium Brake Pads are terrible. They produce such a HUGE amount of brake dust. Probably the worst I have ever seen.

Ugh Neal u jus confirmed something for me.

OT but...

I replaced my brakes a 2 or 3 wks ago and get mild reallllllllly miniscule squeaking. but its DEFINITELY there. It wasnt there when i first did the brakes and the grease was new.

I am wondering if the Autozone grease i used was cheapo and doesnt last long??? If so...whats the best synthetic brake grease to use???
