Door open light on.

Door open light on.

The door light open light goes on and off. I cant lock doors because alarm will go off at some point. Anyone have any of these problems? What did you do to correct it.

Maybe you are having problems with one of the door switches. When the door is closed, stand outside and try pressing on the door where the switch is and releasing it and see what happens. Since the driver's door gets most of the usage, start with that one.

I push the door switch in by hand on all doors and the light still stays on. Is there a way i can kill the door lite and not affect my alarm?

Check the contact points for corrosion. I've seen that cause this issue on other cars several times. Bad continuity so it thinks light should stay on, just clean the connection if necessary.

Our door switches are an open circuit when the door is closed. When you open the door, the connection is made to ground. So if there was corrosion on some connection, it would be as if the door wasn't opened.

I had the same problem turned out to be my hood switch very weird.
