How To get Da Moisture Back into Leather seat from junkyard! Help
my 99 must of belonged to a really Fat person because the 95 i had was in GREAT condition this one looks like someone really overweight broke it in and cracked the sides badly.
threw that one a way and got a used seat from junkyard been in the beamin sun with missing door on 4th gen so when i got it it looked really dusty and nasty but i knew i could bring it back to life or i thought i could lol. took to carwash to wash it with lots of water pressure and wax, conditioned it then shined it and it didnt look notthin like my passenger side one.
$19 bux later on b lack magic protectant and armor all leather care conditioner im stuck with a good looking seat that wont shine up at all. and today i seen on the side its starting to crack because its so dry.
so whats another route to go about getting that moisture back into her, she wont soak up black majic i let it sit their a bunch of it and it drys up to a dull shine.

Wait, so you threw away your existing seat to exchange it for a seat that's been in a max with no doors, exposed to the outside elements for who knows how long?
Then you powerwashed the leather? Wow! Great plan!

The other thing to look for is waterproofing for leather hiking boots from a hiking shop, but try and avoid using too much as it will make the leather weep grease onto your strides.
I dont mean the silicone spray, but the oil/grease for leather.

I used the whole bottle of armoral conditioner and hole bottle of black magic protectant on it and its slowly comming back. its a bit softer but is defiantly shiny finnallly, im gonna try the Merquins rich leather conditioner i sprayed it on my finger and it felt really moist like it could get deep into the leather, its $9.99 worth a try.
