HID adjustment

HID adjustment

I installed some HID's in my 97 se but the beam is shining upward, how do I get them on the ground?

HID's in stock housings? thats the problem, you can adjust the housings down but youre still gonna get a bunch of glare

if you want to adjust the aiming of the housings click the link and go to page 54-55

Take the HID's out and put 9004 bulbs back in.

Problem solved...

hey where did you get yours from im trying to get some bi-xenon 9004 8000k
i have the retro fits from a 2004 beammer but i want to get some reliable hids that arnet over priced

I put some HID in over 2 years ago, they're great!! I did have to adjust my beam down due to blinding on-coming traffic. I went with 6000k, 8000 was too ricey for me.

with cheap aftermarket HIDS, you can barely notice the difference between 6k and 8k. theyre both kinda blue.

with mine i had to remove the o-ring than goes around my bulb because they wouldnt fit in my housing with the o-ring on. no idea why. and i didnt retrofit the cover that twists on the back of our headlight onto the hid kit. so i used duct tape to keep the lights in place lol

HIDS in stock housings can be slightly adjusted though by spinning the bulb in the housing. spinning it changes its direction of the pattern somewhat.
