Alright so I bought these reverse glow gauges from paradox-systems.com. As you can see I don't know why the freaking needle gets stuck on 30 when idle and doesn't go down from there(ever). After I pass 30 the needle starts moving and I really need help with this from someone that knows what there doing please!!! Also I choose from the desired options on the gauges but it always goes back to the first one which I don't want because I want the one on the picture, so that when I turn on the lights that one comes on and not the first one.

Not sure. Did you pull your needles off to put the overlay on? If so, you may be screwed

No the needles werent pulled off

 

How were the needles not pulled off?

 

Did you check the obvious, like if the face is high around the 30mph area or if the needle was bent?

 

well they pop off but the whole thing does like usual.
What do you mean? and no the needle isn't bent

 

I have read about problems like your having when installing those indiglos. Make sure that the gauges are not bubbling up slightly at any area around the surface of the gauge. That will cause the needle to not move. So around the 30 mph area the gauge is not flush thus causing sticking in that area.

 

Yeah its that but do you know how to fix it?

 

Hair blow dryer.
Razor blade.
Pop the bubble??

Alright so this is the deal the needle never goes down under 30 and when im going faster it moves but when im on the freeway it skips into the right speed so the needle like jumps forward to like 60 or so depending on the speed im going, so this is what im trying to figure out.

 

Double sided tape. Make sure its a thin layer. Make sure the needle moves freely before and after the install. This will be trial and error.

 

I wouldnt have said it better!! I recently removed mine. I used the double sided tape and definitely double check that the needle moves freely. Make sure you take note of where the fuel needle is set at. Because if you move that one by mistake you won't have an accurate fuel reading.

My brother said that was all i needed but he just wanted to make sure that double sided tape could fix it so thanks guys yall were a good help ^_^
