A'hoy, fellow champions.

Repost-master Caticorn is back again with a frustrated question.

What is this electrical connector and how do you unplug it?

It's mounted on top of my throttle body (unlike just about every picture of a 4th gen max vq30de I've seen )

I tried pushing there and pulling but it wouldn't work. Maybe I was being a ***** and not pushing hard enough.

Cheers.

The clips get brittle and stiff over time. Use a small flat head and push down on the tab while gently pulling/prying. Be careful, I broke two coil harnesses like that because they were so brittle. Plastic doesn't like hot engine bay temps for 13 years I guess...

Pretty sure it's for egr or something of the likes.

With a little force the clip will release. Don't use excessive force or you'll snap the clip off.

Thanks, everyone. My pussmatic hands couldn't push it down enough so I used needle-nose pliers.
