will a bad evap selenoid cause the trans to shift weird???

i've had code 1400 for a couple of weeks and found its a bad evap selenoid. noticed right before it went bad that the trans was shifting kinda hard 2nd into 3rd, and i did a drain and refill last week, ( not a flush, but all new fluid ) and she seems to be shifting ok but not smoothly. last night when i went to leave from work i put her into reverse and she shifted a tad too fast and hard and kicked back. anything else to clean/check to help tranny out?? thanks>>>

gotta check drop resistor. See if thats in spec.

i know u dont wanna hear this...but your shift solenoids prolly the culprit. I have read on here ppl replacing them and the car shifting smooth.

Evap solenoid doesnt have anything to do with that tranny shifting.
