Turbonator

I saw an ad for this in the back of some ricer magazine. The website is pretty vague as to how it works, what do you all think?

Looks like BS to me. If you watch the video testimony, it looks totally fake and rehearsed. I would save the money and get something worth $70.

0. I love how the only image of the stupid thing is grainy and already installed. If they were actually proud of this product, there would be a picture of the whole thing so you could see what you're getting.

1. $70 for a 5" piece of stainless steel? Yeah, right.

2. OK, so if all it does is "creates a cyclonic action inside your air intake", then why shouldn't I just buy 4 or 5 of them and install them in series (think "super" cyclonic action), thereby increasing my fuel economy to like 45-50 mpg, and almost 300HP?!?!?!?!

3. Stay away from those riceboy magazines dude, they're clouding your thought processes.

An afterthought...

Just look at that beautiful shift **** I have there... that thing makes me shift faster. The faster shifting creates a "swirling action" in my gearbox. The "swirling action" forces my MT grease to spin the gears inside even faster than normal, giving me at least a 0% to 100% increase in fuel economy and 0% to 375% increase in power. If anyone wants to buy it, I'm willing to sell it for like $300. I know it seems like a lot, but look at the possible gains. No, I will not offer you your money back if you're not satisfied.

Turdanator

I think the stick on flames that they sell will give you more hp than the intake plug/vortex-maker.

Why don't you just route the intake inside the car, get a fan and blow some cold air into it manually. (Yes, i am being a smartass)

the first thing i saw was the "new" magnetic flames that they were offering. i bet you have to buy a set of the flames to get the full effect of the turbonator.

Hey BluFlame, that's my old Bel detector. I sold it to a buddy when I bought my Passport 8500 (the silver one that has been tested to be better than the Valentine).
Bel makes a good product, better than Whistler or Cobra, and they recently made one that's about as good as my 8500, but the Passport had many cool features that I lusted for.

No, you got it all wrong, the new magnetic flames add 20 more mental HP. I mean flames, come on, it's pretty obvious!
