does my maxima sound normal, oil leak (video)

the video should explain everything, but basically idk what my engine should be sounding like stock. my exhaust is stock (headers and full exhaust being done this weekend at shop) but as far as the engine tiself goes i hear a ticking noise from the engine and its not loud and everyone that looks at my car doesnt even notice it but i know its there so with the video i pinpointed 3 areas:

the ticking sound (top of the engine after watching vid couldnt really hear it that well but like i said i notice it and idk if i should be worried or its just the engine doing its job, its not loud as in other people can hear it or anything)

the belts under the left wheel (i think it maybe be just me but like i said i dont think it sounds right)

oil leak (this was actually a suprise to me and it must be my car because the honda is behind my car and it hasnt been in that spot in a while but i do have a powersteering leak because the pressure clamps wernt the correct ones but im pretty sure its a oil leak as shown in the video where could it be coming from?)

im getting the car checked out this weekend but im trying to see if my car sounds "normal" b4 i spend the weekend putting on the rest of my mods"

just realize i typed alot sorry, the video is uploading now
i think im just losing it and the car is just fine

According to TSB and Recalls #313668 - Engine and Engine Cooling

Report Date: 06/19/2000
NHSTA: 613977

"Vehicles built before VIN# jn1ca31d1yt746029 may exhibit an engine timing chain noise."

Might your car fall into this report?

after i purchased the max about a month ago i had to replace the pulley, im pretty sure its tight. i think im losing my mind with work and workin on this car everyday. i hear sounds and i always let the car run (i take it around the street daily like a pet) because i get my tags and everything friday and i just want it to run daily and let the tires and breaks get a lil work. i think its just me i will be getting it looked at this weekend tho.it runs and drives perfect tho but i should mention more things:

i used fuel cleaner and just refilled the tank up.
i have to do a oil change 180k miles (oil and filter sugestion?) its not dirty it acutally looks new but it wouldnt hurt to change
antifreeze filled (no sweet smells or anything)
pulley and alt. belt changed
havent done spark plugs tho i bought them
havent cleaned maf yet (shame on me i know)
air filter changed
powersteering filled (still need to get pressurized clamp to stop leak) and hose replaced
the car drives just fine its just jumpy on the gas like it ready to take off down the street like a bat out of hell(not a bad thing still getting used from accord to maxima)
no rough idle, ticking sound isnt loud when i accelerate i even turned music off and listen for it when i drive it

i think its just me being crazy

your injectors will " tick, or click " as it were. i used to hear that sound and wonder wtf it was too. sounds like you might have a timing issue or a knock sensor ghost code. idk, but it does sound ok for the most part, scan and get back to us.

I haven't changed my knock sensor but I seen a fourm posted with a ebay link and just purchased one. No cel codes from me removing the battery to check my airbag connections so once I drive it more I'm sure is should come back because there was one but I never checked it. I'm gonna keep everyone updated its hard to get daytime vids because I get off at 6 and daylight savings time well... Makes everything tough. Anything about the oil leak and reccomendation of oil and filter for 180k? I did read the sticky btw just still a lil unsure

looks like your rear valve covers leaking as well as your timing cover too. ur uim is wet so your plenum gasket needs to be done with the valve covers. i did mine and it dried up that leak and made the timing cover leak a little faster. have you measured how much is leaking by mileage or oil change yet? i would do an oil change just to monitor how much is coming out and put cardboard underneath block to see how much is dripping.

well, just running in the driveway wont cause a leak necessarily. take it on a few errands and let it sit overnight and see what happens. might be a a power steering leak as well, i replaced my upper power steering line and still a little leak so it might be my pump going south too, ahhh, maximas, the never ending awesome nissan money pit!!!!

A few observations:
* You have a sloppy timing chain tensioner
* You have the infamous camshaft seal oil leak
* When posting on an English-speaking forum, it is ok to use English. That makes it easier for other to understand you.

i really think its from my powersteering because i changed my hoses in that spot and had powersteering fluid everywhere. i must say this car is driving me crazy!
if there was a leak how fast would it leak onto the ground?

Tensioner is a few hours if you are careful and have never done it before.

I am doing my cam seals now. I started in early September and still don't have it disassembled.

If the noise and puddles don't bother you, both can wait forever, but I have heard stories about the dripping oil ruining suspension components.

People are more likely to help you if you type proper English. It's just easier to understand. So, you are better off typing correctly.

All I wrote is that it is ok to use English because it helps people understand. No need to get all freaked out over me giving permission to write in a well-documented and well-understood language. If you wish to use an undocumented, niche variant of the language, go for it.

And I will still give you permission to use English.
