Ok, 45k is rolling up, and I have a case of Redline D4 ATF coming in the mail. For those of you who have your automatic transmissions flushed, where did you get it done and how much did it cost? I know the flush includes the cost of 10 qts of normal ATF...so did the shop not charge you for the ATF if you brought your own (i.e. like I am going to bring my Redline).

Also, how long the service take? From what I hear, it takes approx 30 minutes for the machine to do its job.

I went to Vavoline instant oil change. http://www.vioc.com They charge me less since I brought my own ATF fluid (Redline). I don't remember how much less. I think it was $10 less. Anyway, it took about 30mins. Took off two hose clamps. Hook up the lines to the machine and pump away.

got mine done at the auto center at good ol kmart! They use the same machine as the local nissan dealers in atlanta so why not save some money. They charge 70 bucks. Don't know about byo
