okay to flush?

I got new coolant hoses and fresh coolant, if i take out the thermostat, is it safe to flush vqs through the radiator and then through the block, or should i flush just the radiator with the lower hose unhooked.

I'd recommend using the lower hose, then flush with water, replug and fill accordingly. Make sure your bucket can hole more than 2 gallons

The radiator drain plug is easily stripped so be careful. Using the hose might make a little more of a mess but you won't have to worry about stripping anything.
