Particles coming from defrost onto dash

Hey guys. Ive noticed that over the course of a few days after cleaning my dash, I start getting some small particles, like dust or whatever, accumulating on the dash after running the blower on the defrost mode. I have taken the blower apart and cleaned that out so I know there is nothing in there that is getting chopped up and spit out. Would there be another place to check if there is crap inside and how would I clean it out? Is there a filter somewhere that i need to check? Thanks a lot.

There is no filter in the 4th gen. If anything was in the air coming into the car, I would expect it to come out whatever vent setting you used. One thing that it could be is one of the foam strips used to seal the vent doors is drying up and turning into powder.

Ok, that makes sense if it has foam around the vents cause it is kind of a blackish color and now that you mention it, it does kind of look like foam. Thanks. Guess ill have to live with it for now.

No filter on the HVAC system = The nasty crap outside on the roadways winds up in your car.
