$2500 a good deal? How much would you pay?
Hi,
I know everyone hates when people do this, but I really value the org members opinions. I am looking for a 4th gen Maxima or I30 to replace my '92SE. I found one in NYC (I am in Philly) for $2500, and I think it's a pretty good deal. What do you guys think? '97 SE, Black leather Interior, 120K, Clean, One Owner, for $2500. Check out the link below...

one owner and 120k? seems a bit low for both. $2500 is way high IMO. If its true then offer 1500 and meet somewhere in the middle after the haggle. bidding is over though so I guess its yes or no now

I myself would find it hard to buy a car from ebay. I would wanna see it and drive it first. Make sure theres no lower radiator support rust. Northern cars are known to rust out under there and its a PITA and $$$

LOL
If I found that car here in Seattle I'd buy it tomorrow for 2500. Of course I'd actually have to drive it, but that's the car I'm looking for, at the price I'm looking for! BUt I am HUGELY leery about buying a car sight unseen (undriven)

$2500 is a rip even for a 99 4th gen and even if it did have that low milage and "granny only drove it to and from church and never went over 25mph" lol, come on now. These car are EVERYWHERE.
EDIT: I just did the blue book for that car and did all the options and in my area code for a good car(only 3% are considered excellent). They said about 2700k is a fair price. So I guess that was a good price on it.
