Final Goodbye :(
Well, this is my last update for my 1995 Nissan Maxima GXE 5spd... I've been a very happy and proud owner of this vehicle since June 21, 2008 and it had 286,319 miles on it when I bought it.
Today, the car has 361,xxx on the odometer and shows absolutely ZERO signs of failing-runs like a car with less than 50k miles. This has been the best car I have ever owned. It has taken me everywhere I've wanted to go during the 75,000 miles I put on it since owning it.
Unfortunately the car has been sold and is leaving my sight on Monday sold it because I'm moving out of the country. I'd bring it with me but it has cancer on the rear wheel wells and I don't feel like dealing with it.
I'm picking up a 2003 Maxima SE TE 6spd in the SAME color to replace it and if God allows- Its coming with me to Colombia!
This isn't a goodbye from the org but just rather a small tribute to my beloved vehicle who (yes WHO not which lol) never once failed me and was always faithful and there for me when my bestest of friends or girlfriend werent there to cheer me up.
I look forward to my 5.5 gen but will forever miss and be greatful with my 4th gen for many years of uninterrupted loyalty. As you all can tell, I get attached to people/things when they're good to me.
Have a great day!

you'l be back...........oh wait.
Seriously though, always loved the simple appearance of your car. Shouldve came like that factory. The future owner will hopefully take as good of care of it as you have

Sad to see your 4th gen go, but believe me when I say you'll have fun with the 5.5. I too upgraded to a 5.5, but I still have my 4th gen. I love that car, and have full intentions of taking it to the grave with me lol. 361k miles is an amazing achievement. Those VQ30's are awesome motors.

Hey guys, thanks for the kind words... keep in mind I'm not saying goodbye to the org but the Max itself. Tomorrow or later today at 5pm is the sad time of the day when my Max drives away. I do have a good amount of pics I took over the years and plan on taking a couple tomorrow.. BM1 def remains my fav and while the 5.5 I'm getting isnt BM1, its pretty damn close. Its Majestic Blue Pearl instead of Dark Blue Pearl, I still feel like it'll remind me of Max0rz (my 95's name)
I love Max Ride's Max.. its how clean I always wanted mine to look but obviously the person before me didnt take as much care as I would have. Here's some old pics I've taken and that I found on google lol..

Wow, very impressive to see a Maxima with soo many miles on it. Is that the original transmission and engine in that car?
Congrats on your new purchase and I hope you can take your 5.5 to Colombia!

Well, looks like the 5.5gen seller just backed out at last minute! I'm in need of 5.5 gen in good condition. Anyone selling one? willing to fly as long as its not too far of a drive back!

Thanks man! sadly its out my budget and its automatic
I have not sold my Max yet, I cant be left without a car unless I find an adequate replacement worthy of replacing the might Max...
Yes original engine and trans, only replaced a couple of bearings that were making noise in the tranny and its good as new..

Well, today was actually the final day and not when I posted this back in January. I managed to get 7k miles more out of her before someone snatched her up. It was very sad for me to see 4+ years of memories driving away like nothing, both sad and happy memories :/
4 years of babying the thing and not allowing anyone to smoke inside - and first thing new owner did was light up a ****in cigarette in there- AAAAAHHH!!
She had 368,000 miles and a hole on the floor thanks to the rust but everything else was perfect. I've said it before and I'll say it again. Best and more reliable car owned up to date. It even seems like my 2002 6spd is having/will have trouble filling the 95's shoes.

Yes I picked up a 2002 6spd Sterling Mist back in the last days of May. Not fully loaded though just Bose and sunroof appear to be the only options on there. No digital climate, no HLSD, no traction, no heated mirrors, no leather. Got it for a pretty good price and runs pretty decent so whatever.
Its rocking Tokico Illuminas with HR springs btw
