check engine light
check engine light
Happy New Years to all.
My bro has a 4th Gen and I have a 5th Gen. The other day my bro hooked up an cone shaped air filter and when he took it off to put the stock on back on, the started the car without pluggin in the sensor. The car started kind of funny, sounds like it's choking, so he quickly plug the sensor back on. At that point the check engine light came on. So he turned off the car and started it again. The check engine light is still on. We tried resetting the ECU but no help. How can I get rid of the check engine light? or will I have to haul the car to the dealers to have them reset it or reprogram it?
thanks
