odd downshift

odd downshift

Ive been having this weird bunk, when it downshift's from 2nd to first approaching a stop. My max is a 99 128k, tranny fluid is clean wonder if anyone else having this problem?

guessing its a automatic by "the tranny fluid is clean"

if it is a 5spd, just dont shift from 2nd to 1st, even if youre not having problems you shouldnt go from 2nd to 1st while moving

Are you manually shifting?
Check your drop resistor it's a common problem on maximas it would be located on the driverside shock tower it has 2 wires going to it it's gray and the resistance should be 12-13 ohms
Someone correct me if I'm wrong
