Ghost Codes ?

Ghost Codes ?
QUESTION: I figured my car needed an Intake Air Temperature Sensor, an O2 Sensor and the TCC Solenoid Valve because of the CEL Flashing Sequence, but I just took my car to autozone to get a print out and the only code that popped up was the Air Intake Temp Sensor, why is that !? Unless he plugged into the wrong port (under dashboard by drivers left knee/shin). Im asking because I called the person I'm getting the car from to tell them about this and now I may look foolish not having a print out to prove it ! Also I forgot to say, but my car shows the O/D off light at startup, but after that no matter how many times I press the button or how hard, I cant turn O/D off. HELP needed ASAP.

After making this video and checking the ECU again, now the only code im getting is the 4001 for the Intake Air Temp Sensor, so the 1107 went away magically and so did the 0412, yet my car is still doing this weird shifting and the fluid is full. Input needed Thanks.

did you look at the cel diagnostics section? it's a sticky for this reason. look in it but this is part of what it says...
If the O/D OFF indicator lamp stays on continuously, this is not a Judgement Flicker. This condition indicates any of these conditions ...
- PNP switch is disconnected
- O/D OFF button circuit is damaged
- Throttle Position Sensor circuit is disconnected
- Transmission Control Unit is damaged
I would be worried about your tranny...be ready for a big repair.

oh I gotcha. I would have to honestly say find one with no codes cuz these things can be a PITA to get the codes cleared depending on what they are and what's wrong.
course I bought the 98 with no apparent codes and on the way home the stinking ses light came on. people must of reset the ecu when I went to look at it. been a pain ever since but I finally got everything fixed now or at least narrowed down on just a couple things. gonna have to do a rear valve cover gasket within the next couple weeks and get get the last couple things fixed along the way.
