Hi:
I have a 97 Maxima SE, almost 100k miles on the car, I'm thinking to change the tranny fluid to it.
I did the research , someone post said : Matic D is the factory tranny fluid to my car. is this correct?
I found some site sell it for $6 a bottle. How many I need to the car?

please give me an idea.

Did you really need to start a thread in here too? The answers to all your questions are in the Fluids and Lubricants section where your first thread is posted.

 

I used nissan matic-d when I did my drain refill in my 98 ....
I used 4qts but you might want to get 5qts just in case...hope this helps .

 

I read long time ago, but I don't think I saw anyone mentioned the OEM tranny fluid in there, but mobile one / dino etc.

 

All auto 4th gen trannies take Automatic D fluid.
