Of Approval, Failure To Conform To Motor Vehicle Inspection Law, Refusal To Inspect, Failure To Have Inspection, Failure To Make Repairs, Vehicle In Unsafe Condition, Affixing Approval Sticker Without Reinspection, etc and to top it off i received a ticket in the mail from the red light cameras...i swear these ****ers shorten the yellow light smh...but anyways i have court on the 26th...WISH ME LUCK!!

The yellow light is shorter on surveilled intersections. I would think you could argue all of those out when you go to court. Show proof you just bought it and they will surely give you a break on most of the tickets. Probably wont get away scott free though

Last I checked yellow light meant stop if you can safely, not cross your fingers and keep going. If you go in and tell them their yellow lights are too short they will throw the book at you. Instead tell them that you did not feel that you had enough warning to stop safely.
You should be able to prove you bought the car after the sticker was affixed, although I dont know the dates on the sticker (or anything about inspection stickers for that matter). Do you think your car would be able to pass inspection in order to rectify the situation?

yea i kno i but its not even like that i mean if youre going 40mph on route 1&9 is where i was and it turns yellow when youre about 40 feet from the light you cant come to stop that fast..but yeah the cop asked me if i knew the guys name n stuff but i dont remember any of that ****...and no i wouldnt pass inspection i needa sensor for my emission system so all over im screwed lol i def will try to talk to the prosecutor about the inspection cuz i been doin some research and from what i seen those tickets are $500 so im not beat for that

For the best outcome, get a lawyer to do the talking for you. Yep, legal representation cost, but some lawyers take payments & you never know what kind of mood the DA or judge will be in.

Bring the paperwork that shows the date of vehicle purchase. If the inspection was past due at that time, how were you to know, since the tags were current? Guy sold it to you like that.

Paperwork will also have his name on it. If you aren't shady that will clear it up right quick

You don't buy a car with an inspection sticker.
Once you register it, you have 30 days to get it inspected. The inspection sticker is specific to the registration. You are at fault no matter how you look at it.
Ignorance isn't an excuse.

Glad I live where there isn't any of this bull'ish. Good Luck OP, but nkmaxseltd is right. You are responsible for your own inspection.

Huh? I don't see how getting rid of the car would help the situation. Maybe not driving it, but you shouldn't have to go through the trouble of signing it over to someone else.

Sounds to me like you just got a serious A hole of a cop.

I feel your pain OP I too have a lot of tickets.. I need to keep my damn foot off the accelerator.
