If you want to buy a 4th gen, here is your Holy Grail.

Mods, just delete this thread if it's a violation of forum rules.

Just thought I'd post this for anyone wishing to purchase a 4th gen. I doubt you'll ever come across another opportunity again (considering it's legit). The only downside was a reported accident. Regardless, this is the definition of a time capsule.

Wow, only 10K miles. That's insane. What's also insane is that price tag. $5K and the reserve isn't even met yet? :faint:

Passenger side seats look funny or is it just me?

tcaughey 05-25-2012 05:57 PM

Haha I kinda agree. I'm just amazed by the interior condition overall. Damn.

VincentXero86 05-25-2012 06:34 PM

Woooooooooooooooooooooow.(I said that out loud). I am looking specificly for a 1995 Nissan Maxima SE 5 speed. I say it every day. OMG. (Look at the page again) CALI????? *facepalm* I heard something about Cali that would probably kill me and I live in FL so... How much for shipping a car again.

njmaxseltd 05-25-2012 06:42 PM

That's a great car to get your hands on.

QT1 5MT AE 05-25-2012 06:58 PM

I would have totalled driven the 300 miles to pick this bad boy up only if it was a 98-99 sterling mist 5spd with black leather !

Amerikaner83 05-25-2012 07:14 PM

wow...I LOVE the dark green.

Maximeltman 05-25-2012 07:18 PM

max_dreamer 05-25-2012 07:46 PM

WOW... Nissan should still cover that bad boy under warranty!

Unfortunately, its got that tacky gold package, tan interior and its cali spec... But otherwise, that will go to one lucky individual!

And it's a 95, so I don't think they *had* Cali-spec emissions until later?

AJCannon 05-25-2012 07:58 PM

Wow, what an awesome find. I bought my second max a year ago next week...if only I would have waited one more year. I love the 4th gens, even though I've got a 5th gen now.

pics or it didn't happen...

great car! but lots of maintenance will be required as with age things start falling apart.

i dont think that is correct at all... he specifically states he did the maintenance as well as regular drives around the block n stuff... Its not like it just sat, untouched for years.

GGENIUS 05-26-2012 07:57 AM

holy ****. looks like guy didnt even bump his foot against a kick panel for god sakes.

19GLE97 05-26-2012 07:58 AM

idk, raises alot of ?'s

whats under the bra?
was it stored inside or outside? (maybe outside causes the seats look all funky)

and it would need a look in person to see if this guy really did drive it around the block and change the oil/gas frequently...but if its legit, thats the dream max....deep evergereen and 5-spd ;)

i believe it said it was garage kept. i believe the seats look "funky," because theyre in ****in PERFECT condition.

just because it's a california car doesn't mean it's cali spec...and the only annoying cali-spec maximas are the 99's. 95-98 cali specs are the same as fed specs.

Trini Boom 05-26-2012 08:30 AM

By the gods....I knew there was a 4th gen out there with only 10k somewhere and we would have gotten a glimpse of a new 4th gen....

tothemax2003 05-26-2012 10:03 AM

i have a 95 mint burgandy with black leather fully loaded with only 59 thiusand miles but this car is holy **** new.

Stonelove670 05-26-2012 10:16 AM

didn't know this kinda Miles on 95 still exist, motor look clean tho.For some reason the odometer look suspicious tho  or its just me but still clean tho.

Meh, still looks black

If its actually 10k miles, there's a car that would last another 15yrs +.

xtremepb0 05-26-2012 10:49 AM

That's crazy, I would love to see pictures of underneath it. I would buy this car just so working on it would be 10000 times easier not having to deal with rusty bolts and breaking them lol

Blackwind 05-26-2012 02:28 PM

It's a late 95 right before the 96. Not a bad lookin ride

nba0203 05-26-2012 02:34 PM

did anyone else come in here expecting the f&f max lol anyway i dont think youre gonna find a 4th gen with as low miles as that anywhere

ShocknAwe 05-26-2012 02:44 PM

Why does everything look new in that engine bay? not just detailed clean but new?

njmaxseltd 05-26-2012 02:50 PM

:sprint:
You can see there is absolutely no oxidation on anything in the engine compartment.
California weather + garage kept = preserved.

Trini Boom 05-26-2012 04:15 PM

Man, those nuts and bolts are factory fresh. Look at the fuel fill door? Man, did he even put gas in there......LMAO!!! Man, I got a 4th gen with that mileage, it would be registered under antique insurance....

ShocknAwe 05-26-2012 05:39 PM

Im beginning to think this is a Katrina car. Look at the carpet, its not original. There are so many parts on there that look brand new. The black plastic piece on the seat belt pillar that the door closes into? It looks brand new. Garage kept and cali ok but what did he never drive it? the steering wheel looks almost new too. I don't know guys. If it sounds too good to be true it usually is

Amerikaner83 05-26-2012 05:41 PM

the AutoCheck report shows clean

ShocknAwe 05-26-2012 05:42 PM

If it is for real it has got to be an old man that just went to and from church 15ft away once a week lol

JSutter 05-26-2012 07:33 PM

It even has the red key!
